Cookie Policy
Last updated: 12 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on the Glint website.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your device. Similar technologies (such as local storage) work in comparable ways. They are commonly used to make a site function, keep it secure, or remember preferences.
2. How we use cookies
The Glint website is intentionally lightweight. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking for ads. The Site may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies or use similar storage required for security and basic functionality, and it uses Google Analytics (see Section 3) to understand aggregate site traffic - Google Analytics sets its own cookies for that purpose. The Glint macOS app itself does not use cookies.
3. Third-party services
Analytics: the Site uses Google Analytics (Google LLC) to measure visits and aggregate usage of the Site, which sets cookies (such as _ga) and processes your IP address and device information on Google's behalf. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking these cookies.
Payments: when you proceed to purchase, you are taken to our payment provider, Polar, on its own domain (buy.polar.sh). Polar may set its own cookies, which are governed by Polar's policies.
4. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set most browsers to block them. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how parts of the Site work.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version.
